- Provides basic and logistical support for the institutional activities of the National Laboratories;
- Oversees the design, management, and maintenance of the facilities, equipment, and real estate assets of the Legnaro National Laboratories, while promoting the development of innovative and specialized technologies;
- Collaborates with and assists users in the utilization of the laboratories’ infrastructure systems;
- Oversees the design and construction of mechanical structures for experiments and accelerators;
- Collaborates with the Prevention and Protection and Non-Conventional Safety Services on the design, regulatory compliance, management, and monitoring of fire protection and safety systems;
- Oversees the design and construction of the Laboratory’s building infrastructure;
- Manages and maintains the technical documentation (construction, systems, mechanical designs, etc.) for the Laboratories;
- Manages relations with the University’s Technical Office.
