Negative Ion Beams Available at the Injector of the LNL XTU TANDEM

Updated on November 2nd, 2009

In this page you will find the list of the negative ion beams available to the XTU tandem users. The reported beam current is referred to the beam extracted from the ion source and injected in the XTU Tandem; to calculate the beam current obtainable at the experimental point, this value must be multiplied by the tandem and beam line transmission, and by the positive ion charge state probability after stripping. The quoted intensity should be intended as an average value that can be reliably maintained during a long run without making unreasonably short the Tandem stripper foils lifetime.
If you wuld like to get information concerning ECR Positive Ion Beams please go to Available ECR Positive Ion Beams.
