Accessing Soft IOCs

The SoftIOCs are running under procServ, a tool that runs a SoftIOC as a background process while allowing telnet access to its console (from the local machine).

[edit] Console Access

Soft IOCs, their usage and the telnet ports for console access:

TICBOCE 

Vacuum Measurement
port 24700

ESSLAMB 

Power Supplies
port 24701

Running

telnet localhost <port number>

will connect you to the SoftIOC console.

^] will escape to the telnet client (type q at the telnet> prompt to quit), ^X will reboot the SoftIOC.
